Sandy McDonald is an online marketer, author and TEDx presenter.
She is the founding director of Get It Right Online and Why You Must Blog and founder of Australian charity, KasCare.
Through her business, Get It Right Online, Sandy coaches business owners to develop a coherent and correctly positioned online presence from which to blog and build community, both as a business development and life-changing practice.
After 22 years running a marketing communications company, she used passionate blogging to create an online community that help orphaned children in southern Africa as a result of HIV AIDS and poverty.
Now numbering more than 15,000 from 55 countries, they have sent over a million items to warm and comfort the children. They’ve touched an estimated 250,000 people world wide, raising awareness of the plight of these children.
Her three decades of marketing experience together with the knowledge gained from this experience forms the backbone of her book, Get It Right Online. Build a clan. Supercharge your business. Clans details her framework for building an advocating community using blogging as its central tenet.
She is also a featured author on Blogging for Business, in the book It’s That Easy, Online Marketing 3.0, by Ludwina Dautovich.
Sandy believes ‘it is at the intersection of intent, knowledge and stories online that ingenuity shines and communities gather’. She is known for converting a complex online world into practical, but life-changing steps for business owners to supercharge their business and their lives.
